I grew up around Kansas City, home of the Royals baseball team and Hallmark Cards. This design riffs on their crown logos, as well as big American sedans from the 70s, CNC'd bicycle components from the 90's, vintage studio microphones, and Arabic festival lanterns. Constructed almost entirely from stainless steel and available in a buffed or polished finish.
