The Fanoos lamp series draws inspiration from the utilitarian silhouettes of New York City water towers and Chicago bridge houses, blended with the warmth and ornament of traditional Arabic festival lanterns.

Conceived as a flexible and adaptable lighting platform, the series is equally suited to a bedside table—with its integrated, easy-to-locate touch switch—or as an accent light in a variety of interior spaces,

Fabricated from welded stainless steel, lathe-turned solid wood and/or acetal, and glass beads. Uses E-26 socket and can accommodate a variety of standard 4 to 7 watt medium base bulbs.

Options include 2100k, 2700k, or 3000k bulb, choice of woods or acetal, choice of glass (where applicable), and choice of fabric cord and plug colors.

Size varies with model, but averages around 6.5" wide x 6.5" deep x 12" tall.

retail $1,600 to $2,000 - depending on options
At left, the "lug nut" edition draws on automotive inspired details with a broad-shouldered silhouette. On the right, the "water tower" edition is a reinterpretation of the classic New York City water tower that evokes familiar urban infrastructure, distilled into a compact, sculptural lighting object.
The Fanoos “dingle ball” edition explores the idea of object as jewelry. Featuring a walnut top, acetal ring, and hand-strung glass beads, the piece introduces a softer, more ornamental expression to the series while retaining its industrial foundation. Material contrasts and layered detailing transform a functional object into something intimate, decorative, and quietly ceremonial.
